I was the “chubby kid” who wasn’t good at sports, got picked almost last for everything, and hated running (still hate running, but now I CAN’T – different story). I started CrossFit 5 or 6 years ago and at 43 I’m the fittest and strongest I’ve ever been. I took time off after my surgery for my stomach muscles to heal and came back and dedicated myself to 4 days a week and pushing as hard as I could (without hurting myself!!) and saw a huge difference in only a few months!
