Tell us about yourself. Where are you from and how did you get here?
I am originally from Atlanta. I moved to Woodstock when I was 16 with my husband and baby.

How long have you been a member at The Garage?
I have been a member at the garage since May of this year (2016)

How did you find The Garage?
Macy Tarlton brought me to the gym.

What do you like about working out at The Garage?
I love the great support and community at The Garage.
Every coach at The Garage is awesome and I can’t say enough good things about Ayse!

What do you do for a living?
I am an Admin Assistant for a software company

What are your hobbies and interests?
Reading, riding my motorcycle, playing guitar, studying the Bible.

What is something interesting about you most people don’t know?
I am involved in prison ministry in the state prisons and also volunteer in children’s ministries.

Favorite food(s)?

Favorite music to workout to?
I can workout to pretty much any kind of music but I really like heavy metal and some alternative.

Favorite WOD, lift or skill?
I don’t have a favorite WOD- I just suffer through them.
I am enjoying learning to lift weights in general.

WOD, lift or skill you never ever want to do again?
Bur-pees are from hell and I will never do another one!!

What’s your proudest CrossFit achievement to date?
I am proudest that I made it through the WOD with a million bur-pees and I didn’t throw up.
I am also proud to accomplish losing the weight I wanted to and now will work to keep it off.

What’s on your bucket list? Or what are some goals you are trying to accomplish? (either at the gym or otherwise)
I have a goal to be in the best state of being that I possibly can. That I am physically, emotionally, and spiritually in balance and I want to work toward a weight lifting competition where I can become more disciplined and in control of myself. I want to push myself to the farthest limits that I am able to go. And as Andy put it so well, I want to be around in years to come so I can teach my grandchildren.

Anything else you want to include?
I just want to encourage anyone that is struggling in their life that no matter what is going on, if you want to change you can. There are NO limits on what you can do! Put truth in your heart and get your mind to believe it and the sky is the limit. Set a goal and go after it!!

If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
The one person I would like to meet is my biological father because I was adopted as a baby and though I was able to meet my mother I never knew my dad.

If you were trapped on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you?
My Bible, my children, and a boat.
