“Considering that I hate working out and sweating, I am happy to come to the Garage every week. It has changed my mind about working out.
I am so much stronger now than I ever was in my 20s and 30s. But the best thing about the garage is the community. I have such an amazing group of friends who I work out with and who keep me accountable and encourage me. It’s easier to make healthy choices when those around you are seeing results from their healthy lifestyles.
For anyone who thinks they can’t CrossFit, I couldn’t pick up the 35 lb bar off the rack when I started. I’m not the strongest woman in the gym but I am much better off than 5 years ago.”
