I have lived here in the Woodstock area for most of my life (after moving here from Cleveland, OH when I was 4). I graduated from Etowah High School in 2000, and went on to Georgia Southern University where I earned my B.S. in Interior Design. After several years working in commercial design, I decided to go back to school for Radiologic Technology through Chattahoochee Technical College, and then following that with a Radiation Therapy degree through Grady Hospital. I’ve worked at Kennestone Hospital in both the cancer center and medical imaging.
In high school I was very involved in sports including track, cross country and cheer-leading.
Currently, I work at a pediatric imaging center as a Radiologic Technologist.
In August 2016, I took my first CrossFit class at the Garage and never looked back. I started coming regularly to classes, broke through my personal fitness plateau, and discovered an entirely new love for health and fitness. I enjoyed the progression of mastering new skills, especially at my age, and realized I wanted to help others do the same. In December 2017, I received my Level 1 certification and have been coaching members ever since. My favorite thing about CrossFit is that it allows for scaling and modification for all movements, based on each individual athletes athletic capacity and that there is fitness achieved at any level. I love our community and how everyone is so supportive of everyone’s successes!
