Name: Glenn

Tell us about yourself. Where are you from and how did you get here? I grew up in a small town in southeast Illinois. It is the home of Heath candy bar. A friend of mine and myself moved to the Atlanta area after high school to be some girls we met on a summer vacation.

How long have you been a member at The Garage? Next month it will be 3 years.

How did you find The Garage? A couple of people I know recommended The Garage

What do you like about working out at The Garage? After getting over the alarm going off, I like starting the day with the 5:15 class.

What do you do for a living? I manage a sugar manufacturing operation out near Six Flags

What are your hobbies and interests? My hobbies are motorcycling, yard work, golf, and keeping 3 dogs happy.

What is something interesting about you most people don’t know? I was in charge of starting up the 600,000 square foot distribution center for the Atlanta Olympics. I was selected to run a segment with the Olympic Torch the night before the opening ceremonies.

Favorite food(s)? Ice cream and nuts. (not together)

Favorite WOD, lift or skill? Bench Press

WOD, lift or skill you never ever want to do again? Squat Snatch

What’s your proudest CrossFit achievement to date? Besides surviving, my 300+ PR’s in Deadlift and Back Squat

What’s on your bucket list? Or what are some goals you are trying to accomplish? (either at the gym or otherwise): To be a nonspeaking extra in a movie riding my motorcycle.

If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be and why? Jesus Christ because he is my Lord and Savior.

If you were trapped on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you? The biggest flare gun in the world, solar powered refrigerator full of food and the book “How To Build A Raft For Dummies”
